This is an order placed with the aim of offering it as a gift for an upcoming birth 👶🏻
Knowing that her friend was a fan of the ocean theme, the customer wanted to offer her a soft chenille comforter that would perfectly match her desires 🐟

It took me several hours of work, first creating a prototype in cotton thread to be sure of the result I wanted to obtain, before being able to reproduce it with chenille thread. 🐛

Why not have made the model directly in chenille thread, you might ask, it would have given me fewer hours of work. Since chenille thread is fragile, it does not allow us to crochet and undo our work as many times as we want, without the thread getting damaged and losing its fluffy material. This is why it was imperative that I create the stripe first in cotton thread to invent my model and then reproduce it in chenille thread 🌈
